Things of Note // Bold Gold Rings
When it comes to jewelry, there’s not much I love more than a good bold gold ring.
In fact, it’s rare to find me without at least one on my hand on any given day. And if I had to pick only one piece of jewlery to wear forever, it would, without a doubt, be my gold ring stack {closely tied with my gold hoop earrings}.
One of the reasons I’m such a fan of big gold rings is that, even though they make a bold statement, many of them are very classic, sleek and timeless shapes, meaning they won’t ever go out of style and they’re pieces you can comfortably invest in knowing that you’ll be able to wear them again and again and again. Bold rings are also great when you’re getting ready in a pinch {Hi, it’s me…all the time!} because you can literally throw one on with even the most simple outfit, without any other jewelry, and you’ll still look put together and all dressed up. And, of course, I love a good bold ring in the summer months, when it’s often too hot to be layered in necklaces, bracelets and such, one bold ring is all you need to jazz up your outfit.
While I already own several favorite gold rings, I still have a few that are on my wish list, as well as several that have caught my eye during some recent online browsing sessions. Here’s what I’ve been swooning over-
AURATE // I love everything this brand designs, including their entire ring collection. I have this ring, which I adore and wear, stacked alongside a plane gold band, almost every single day. I’ve also been swooning over this sleek, chic Arc Ring for as long as I can remember. I mean, it’s just so perfect! You don’t need anything other than this ring to make a statement.
OMA THE LABEL // I recently discovered this Black owned brand, and while I’m obsessed with pretty much everything they have, their ring selection, in particular, really had me drooling! A few that I’m planning to purchase include this one, this one and most especially this one.
KHIRY // This ring may be simple, but it still packs a bold punch. And while it’s one of the pricier options on this list, it’s such a classic, timeless piece that the price is really nothing when you realize it’s a ring that will go with anything you wear from now until forever. PS This brand is also Black owned.
MEJURI// Another one of my favorite jewelry brands has several statement rings that I love, all at great price points. This one, as its’ name says, is chunky but totally sleek, and I love this one, not only for its’ twisted style but also its’ irrissitable name.
GYPSY BK // Many of the previous rings I’ve listed are more classic, timeless and chic. But for something a little more fun and trendy, I’m obsessed with this ring from Black and female-owned jewelry brand, Gypsy BK.
