Sézane Calvi Skirt Outfit

If you know me,

you know I’m all about that French style. French clothing, French labels, French inspo, French vintage pieces. Like whatever I can do to get as close to that enviable and highly coveted French girl je ne sais quoi style, I’m doing it. Which is probably why I’m such a fan of Sézane, and have been for years.

I’ve shared a few of their pieces here and there before but, for those who don’t know, Sézane is a Paris-based clothing brand that makes chic Parisian style approachable and attainable for any girl, no matter where you are in the world. Their pieces are high quality, made to last and always so versatile. There’s a strong nod to fashion of the past with many vintage-inspired pieces and colorful prints and fabric, but there’s also a variety of items, like this Calvi Skirt, that are more modern, minimal, neutral and timeless. More recently, they’ve even been making strides to be more sustainable by using things like organic, sustainable fabric and recycled packaging. Long story short, you’re looking for French-girl must-haves this is your go-to place to shop.

Speaking of, while I was recently shopping on their site, I snagged this Calvi Wrap Skirt from them and I’m truly obsessed.

I mean, not to be dramatic or anything, but it’s quite possibly the BEST black skirt I have ever, and will ever, own! Like everything they do, Sézane has a great variety of skirts (long, short, neutral, print) for a variety of occasions and seasons (summer, fall, etc.). I’m always a sucker for a good wrap skirt (or really wrap anything for that matter) so I couldn’t resist adding this one to my last Sézane order. It’s just so chic!

I also love how timeless and versatile it is. Like I know this is something that will be in my closet for years to come. And, even though it’s more form fitting and perfect for dressier outfits, it’s also incredibly comfortable with its elastic waist and soft-knit material. Currently, it’s available in three colors (I have black) and 8 sizes (personally, I find that it fits true-to-size, so I’d say go with your normal size).

In today’s Sézane Calvi Skirt outfit, I’ve paired said skirt with a top from one of my favorite sustainable brands, B.New York, a chunky gold necklace and some strappy heels for a perfect end-of-summer, dressy, classic and chic, going-out outfit. But I’m already envisioning it with a chunky sweater and boots, or an oversized sweatshirt and Chuck Taylors as the temps start to dip and we head into fall.
