Brown Leather Pants

Fashion can be quite frivolous.

And even more so at a time like this. In fact, most fun things can feel frivolous when the world is quite literally burning.

But it’s also those very same frivolous things that keep us from going totally insane. Or so I tell myself.

A delicious, home-cooked beautifully plated meal full of farm fresh produce. Flipping through a magazine. Basking in the afternoon sun. Sipping on a crisp glass of Sauvy B. A good face mask. A bubble bath. A few new beauty products, just because. Lighting a brand new candle. An afternoon at the beach. Going for drives up the coast. A meal out. Lounging on the couch, binging a new series. Putting on a pair of heels. Fresh flowers for the house. Things that are frivalous, but also the things that keep me grounded and sane.

Another thing? Getting dressed up, even if it means I’m all dressed up with no where to go. Which is pretty much what happened with this outfit. I recently got these vegan brown leather pants in from Brochu Walker and I’ve been itching to take them out on the town, but with no set plans in place, I settled for taking them out for a spin around a parking lot instead (ha!). Gotta do what you gotta do, right?!
