Hello, hello! Long time, no chat. I took a little spontaneous hiatus from the site, but I’m so excited to be back to writing, creating and sharing and couldn’t be happier to be kicking things off with one of my favorite posts of the month, Month Ahead.
But first…I have a V serious matter to discuss. Is anyone else having a hard time comprehending that it’s already August? And why on earth people are already talking about fall and back to school?? Nope, just me?? Cool.
Meanwhile, I’m over here like “We should make some plans for summer!”, because silly me keeps thinking it’s like June 2nd, not time for pumpkin spice lattes. Someone make me feel slightly less silly and tell me I’m not the only one!
Suffice it to say, I’m focused on one thing and one thing only this month- soaking up all the summer goodness that I possibly can. After all, I have to make up for the two months I slightly overlooked. Ha!
I hope you, too, are taking the time to slow down and savor all that remains of this fleeting season!

I also want to attempt my hand at making grilled oysters after enjoying these delicious ones over the weekend!
what I’m drinking // my new favorite bright, refreshing, citrusy, perfect-for-summer locally made spritz-in-a-can
what I’m shopping for // pieces to finish up our kitchen makeover, large lamps for our bedside tables that just arrived (I’m loving something along these lines) and maybe snagging a piece or two from this new-to-me, very on-brand with my aesthetics, ethically handcrafted line
