WHAT'S AHEAD // FEBRUARY 2020
A PEEK AT WHAT'S COMING UP THIS MONTH AT RUNWAY CHEF HQ
BETTER LATE THAN NEVER
Editorโs Note // And just like that weโre already one full month into 2020. Yet somehow, it kind of feels like the year is just getting go, like January was the practice month, the warm-up for the rest of the year. Or is that just meโฆtrying to cover for the fact that Iโm just now getting my first post of 2020 up on the site? You know what they say, thoughโฆbetter late than never. So, if youโre like me and havenโt quite gotten started on your plans for the year, or youโve been taking a little extra time to get into the swing of things, thatโs ok. Rest and down time is ok. In fact, itโs more than ok. Itโs NEEDED. And besides, who makes the rules around here anyways? Who says goals have to kick off on January 1st instead of April 17th? Who says January has to be a month of hustle instead of a month of rest? Spoiler alert: no one, not one single person ever, has said these things. Yet, we create these โrulesโ in our heads, and somehow think if we do anything else, weโre failing. So hereโs to February and breaking rules and taking breaks and starting goals whenever you darn well please! xx

Every month we use Pinterest to help us design our monthly mood boards. These boards then act as our guide when it comes to shaping the direction and look of the content for the upcoming month. Peek our FEBRUARY BOARD to see whatโs inspiring us this month {hint: love is in the air! But so is: cozy vibes, creamy whites and winter light!}.
WORK //
After taking some time to reflect, weโve decided to temporarily cut back on collaborations and projects in order to focus on how we can use this platform to make the biggest impact in 2020. Weโre also taking this time to lay down the ground work for upcoming endeavors that will allow us to actually make that impact. So, while work isnโt slowing down by any means, most of this monthโs happenings are behind-the-scenes things that you wonโt be seeing {at least immediately}. But donโt worry, in the mean time, youโll be getting to view lots of new articles and content here on the site!
LIFE //
Weโve been keeping travel to a minimum in order to put all the focus on our current chapter, setting up our house. However, weโve still got a few small trips planned for the month {Houston + Austin, then Santa Barbara with family later this month}. All are places weโve never been to so weโre that much more excited to check them out!
And speaking of the home front, we are slowly chipping away at projects to make our space feel less like a house and more like, well, a home. Goals for this month include setting up a composting corner, organizing our laundry room, finishing my closet + planning our outdoor space. Stay tuned for updates!
