Are you pinning with me on Pinterest? I’m saving all kinds of inspiration for the holidays so be sure to follow along.

Also, be on the look out for our next Cooking Couple video coming later this month!

WORK //

It is full steam ahead on all things holiday around here. Stay tuned for updated holiday-themed shops as well as a β€œHoliday Central” where you’ll be able to find everything for all your holiday needs.

I also recently gave the RC menu bar a mini makeover. If you give it a quick browse you’ll notice the addition of things like β€œGive” and β€œLocal Love”, as well as a few others. Each tab has also been updated with featured articles so make sure you check them out for seasonal inspiration from city to coast + closet to kitchen.

LIFE //

Dave and I are checking off a few things I mentioned on this list, the biggest being that we’re volunteering at our church’s massive thanksgiving dinner and boutique for the homeless in our local community. Over a thousand people will be coming through the doors, getting things like toiletry kits (We’re assembling + donating a few of these, too.), sleeping bags, the opportunity to β€œshop” (it’s all free) for clothes in the boutique and, of course, a warm Thanksgiving meal. Dave will be at the turkey carving station and I’ll be slicing up pies, and we’re both incredibly happy to be able to help give back to those less fortunate, especially at this time of year.

Outside of that, we’re tackling a few big organizational projects, like our kitchen cabinets and my dresser (which is currently scarier enter than the gates of hell). It’s not all that fun, but someone’s gotta do it…

We’ve both also picked up drawing/painting again in an effort to spend a little more time on hobbies that aren’t work related.
