Olive Mules for Fall
I hardly recognize myself in heels these days.
Olive Mules for Fall
Forget about actually walking in them (I may or may not have stumbled into a wall when I put heels on again for the first time since quarantine). But I couldnโt pass up the opportunity to take these new beauties for a stroll. Granted that was the extent of what I wore these for, a stroll across the parking lot to do a grocery store run. Outside of being the most over-dressed fool in the produce department, I have to admit, it felt nice to get dressed up and put on a shoe that wasnโt a flip flop even if just to run a basic errand. Iโve been hesitant to even buy a pair of heels over the last 6 months, and not because there havenโt been some beautiful ones that Iโd love to add to my closet. But when weighing my spending options between loungewear and heels and what Iโd really be using the most, there wasnโt even a competition between the two. However, I truly couldnโt resist these shoes (How perfect is the olive color for fall?!) so I finally pulled the trigger on getting my first pair of heels this year. Remember that post about โFinding Joyโ that I wrote recently? Well, thatโs why. New heels, new joy. Highly recommend.
