MAPLE BROWN SUGAR OAT MILK LATTE
MAPLE BROWN SUGAR OAT MILK LATTE
Every time I make this maple brown sugar oat milk latte I feel like I’m giving myself a little gift. It’s just so comforting and cozy with its decadent buttery maple aromas that envelope your taste buds like a warm hug, and who doesn’t want that on a cold winter morning (or afternoon)?
The best part about this latte is just how easy it is to make. And it uses ingredients that I guarantee you already have on hand. No fake syrups or fancy simple syrups needed. Instead, I use real maple syrup. That way you still get a syrup sweetener but it’s one ingredient, all natural, without any of the unnecessary additives typically found in coffee syrups. AND, as a bonus, you get the delicious maple essence and sweetness in your latte. I also add brown sugar to round out the depth of warmth and sweetness in the flavor profile, but this also tastes incredible with coconut sugar or, if you want to go all in on the maple flavor, try this with maple sugar. Holy yum!

INGREDIENTS YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS MAPLE BROWN SUGAR OAT MILK LATTE
The ingredient list for this recipe is short and sweet (just like the drink). Here’s what you need to make this recipe-
BROWN SUGAR- coconut sugar also works well for this latte, or, if you can get it, maple sugar is great to add extra maple flavor and delicious sweetness
MAPLE SYRUP- for flavor and sweetness
ESPRESSO- I originally developed this recipe using a Nespresso pod, however, you can use any espresso shot of your choice, or you can use one ounce of a very strongly brewed coffee
OAT MILK- But if you don't have oat milk, or it just isn't your thing, feel free to sub in the milk of your choice
HOW TO MAKE THIS MAPLE BROWN SUGAR OAT MILK LATTE
This latte could not be easier to make. Here’s how to do it in three easy steps-
STEP 1- MIX THE BROWN SUGAR + MAPLE SYRUP
Mix the brown sugar and maple syrup together right in your mug; feel free to add a little additional sugar or syrup if you prefer your latte to be sweeter.
STEP 2- BREW THE ESPRESSO
If you’re using a pod or a machine like a Breville you can brew the espresso directly into the mug; just give it a stir once it’s done brewing so that it can combine with the maple and sugar mixture.
STEP 3- FROTH THE OAT MILK
Froth the milk to your desired consistency; I like mine to be thick, almost like whipped cream and I love to use the Aeroccino because it warms and froths the milk to the perfect consistency. Once it’s frothed add it to your mug, stir slightly and enjoy!
EQUIPMENT YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS MAPLE BROWN SUGAR OAT MILK LATTE
ESPRESSO MACHINE- I like to use my Breville, but anything from a Nespresso machine to a Moka will work as long as it brews espresso.
MILK FROTHER- I lOVE my Nespresso Aeroccino (so much so that I even travel with it) so I use that for this recipe, but feel free to use your preferred milk frother of choice.
