Speaking of that light that I’m such a sucker for, I couldn’t resist the way it was shining through these cocktails we were having at The Deck this past Sunday {We had stopped for a family dinner…such a fun spot! Highly recommend if you’re in the area!}.

A quick snap of some sustainably made pieces that I’ve been wearing on repeat- my Rothy’s slip-on c/o, which are made from recycled plastic bottles, and my Outland Jeans c/o, a company employing a wide spectrum of socially and environmentally responsible practices to manufacture their jeans with organic cottons and safe dyes in sustainable practices. Did I mention they also employ women who have been rescued from human trafficking??

That post-sunset glow is one of my favorite times of day, especially at the beach, and it definitely did not disappoint while we were in Laguna Beach earlier this week.

During a stop on PCH, in Malibu, the way these beauties were blowing in the wind captured my eye, so I knew I had to capture a photo. I just love the way it came out, simple, yet detailed, with a good dose of that magical coastal California light I adore so much.

Speaking of lights and The Deck, this was my view looking up from the previously mentioned cocktails, and I don’t hate it. Looking up is always a good idea!
