Dreaming in Pink
Happy Monday! I may be physically sitting at my desk, tackling my long to-do list, but mentally, I'm back here, in the dreamy gardens of Middleton Place. With The Notebook being one of my favorite movies of all time, you can imagine my excitement of getting to visit some of the places around Charleston in which it was filmed. Of course, with those rolling fields and beautifully draped Spanish moss (do you see that moss?! do you see it?! OMGIDIE!), I envisioned all sorts of grandiose outfits which would be divine to shoot in such heavenly locations. But then that annoying thing called reality kicked in, oh so pleasantly reminding me that a) the weather would be too cold, b) my suitcase wouldn't have enough room, and even if it did, c) my wardrobe didn't even come close to matching the one that I was envisioning in my dreams. So I settled for pink pants, because pink somehow makes everything better. Yes, even Monday mornings at a desk....
