White + Denim in Nashville
Old Navy Top || One Teaspoon Shorts || Gap Belt || Franco Sarto Shoes || Vintage Clutch
Contrary to popular belief, everyone doesn't actually two-step around Nashville in cowboy boots, big buckled belts and denim. Head into Honky Tonk area and booty shorts and boots are probably all you'll see. But anywhere else, it's business as usual.
While I did bring my cowboys boots (and happily would have rocked them) it ended up being too hot to keep my feet crammed in them for longer than a few minutes. These Franco Sarto wedges became my go-to, instead, and I wasn't mad about it one bit.
And can I get a round of applause for this blouse?!? Ok maybe that's weird since you aren't actually wearing it, so I'll give it a round of applause instead because it deserves it. It's light and cool and breezy, and those details...I mean, Hello! Where have you been all summer?! It was perfect for making my distressed shorts look anything but (adding the belt was key), it kept me cool in the seriously humid weather and it took me from working in a coffee shop (Frothy Monkey) to lunch and drinks (Pinewood Social) to a casual dinner (Acme Feed & Seed). Now, this, this is my kind of honky tonk style...
