Little Joys
A few weeks ago,
in Happy Hour 173, I talked about little joys and finding small ways to add something extra to your days. While I think every day of life is worth savoring, celebrating and filling with little joys, it feels especially important to do so during these times of isolation.
Little joys, to me, is all about making the ordinary feel extraordinary. It’s about finding the beauty in the every day, in the the mundane tasks and in the overlooked to-do’s. It’s about the in-between moments, those moments that, strung together, make up our lives. It’s about making each day special, because every day you open your eyes is special. It can be something that takes mere seconds to something that takes a few hours, something that is free to something that costs you a few dollars. As long as it brings a little joy to your life, that’s all that matters. Below, I’m sharing a few ideas for ways you can add some extra joy to your days.
