LINNÉ Botanicals Skincare
LINNÉ Botanicals is a bit of a newer brand in my skincare rotation, but one I’ve fallen fast and hard for. I heard about the brand on social media sometime last year, but it wasn’t until January of this year that I finally first tried them (I know, I know, what took me so long??!).
The botanical beauty brand, based out of Charleston, is all my favorite things- clean, sustainable, aesthetically pleasing. Oh, and most importantly, it works. Here’s what I’ve tried and love from their line so far-
ACTIVATE BODY WASH
One of the things that seems to help breakouts on my skin the best is charcoal, so when I saw it on the ingredients list for this product I knew it would be a home run for me. So great if you’re someone sho struggles with any bacne (*raises hand). And, while I know it says body, I also have found it to be great on my face. Pro tip- keep it in the shower, apply it on your face, leave it for a few minutes as a mask, while you use it as the body wash on the rest of your body. Rinse and repeat.
PURIFY FACE WASH
I love how bright and fresh this face wash smells. And there’s the purifying power couple, tee tree oil + French green clay, in it so you know it’s going to get your skin nice and clear and clean. My favorite way to use this is actually as a quick mask, leaving it on for a few minutes. I also like to use it as a spot treatment, as recommended to me by the brand themselves.
RENEW FACE SERUM
This antioxidant powerhouse has rapidly become one of my favorite serums. It’s formulated to treat many of my target issues, things like hyperpigmentation, evening skin tone, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and so much more. It’s beautiful, light and, when paired with the repair oil, it is just wow! A recipe for the most golden, glowy, dewy, dreamy skin a girl could want. Most times I now use it in the morning in place of where I would have previously used a vitamin C serum (don’t worry, one of the many wonderful things this serum is packed with is plenty of vitamin C, so I’m still getting that C kick!)
REVIVE EYE EMULSION
I just adore this eye emulsion! It’s super light, which is perfect for me as I prefer a lighter eye cream for daytime, and I feel like it just always makes my eye area look so bright, dewy and fresh and ready to face the day. I also notice such a difference in how make-up goes on afterwards i.e. things such as it helps keep concealer from settling into fine lines. Pro tip- dab any extra you have on your fingers around your lips or anywhere else you have fine lines.
REPAIR FACE OIL
I am obsessed with this face oil! It gives me a glow like no other! And I definitely can tell the days where I forget to apply it. Sometimes I keep it simple and just apply this after I apply the renew serum (as I mentioned above, for ultimate golden girl/glazed donut vibes), sometimes I apply it after a face lotion, sometimes it’s the final step in a whole routine, and, well, sometimes I just use it all on it’s own. Because it’s just that good that you don’t even need anything else!
BALANCE FACE OIL
While repair is definitely a favorite, I also love having Balance as a nice nice swap to have in rotation for the times when my skin is experiencing some breakouts or inflammation.
