Lady in Red
Vintage Dress || Old Navy Bag || Jeffrey Campbell Flats
Happy Monday friends! Mondays can be happy, right?! I mean, I know they aren't known for being that way, but "Make Mondays happy again!" is totally a campaign I could get behind. Who's with me??!
For starters, wearing bright colors is a sure fire way to make Mondays happy. I mean, how can you look at this color and NOT be happy? Try it. I dare you. Another way to make Mondays happy? Scoring great vintage pieces. Since this dress happens to be a bright color AND is a vintage score, this particular Monday is all kinds of happy for me. I happened to find this bright red vintage dress while thrifting recently and knew I had to have it. I love the classic style and fit, the color is such a beautiful, bright shade and, let's face, vintage clothes are often made way better than anything is these days. I styled it simply, with just a white bag and flats, for our last (very hot) day of exploring Nashville, but I'm looking forward to layering it over a white button down or long sleeve shirt in the fall. And while this exact dress is obviously no longer available (something that is really cool and unique, but is also slightly frustrating from the recommendation side of things), I've linked several similar dresses that would be perfect for transitioning from end of summer right into fall.
What's making your Monday a happy one?
