Jenni Kayne Style- Alpaca Cocoon Cardigan + Saturday Sweatpants

Come the cooler months you’ll usually find me in some combination of Jenni Kayne styles. A cocoon cardigan here, a cashmere turtleneck there, some Saturday sweatpants thrown into the mix, a cozy puffer jacket over here, an oversized sweater to top it all off, a sleeveless sweater dress to layer everything up. We know I’m a Jenni fan all-year long, but Jenni in the fall and winter just hits different.

So, as I’m sure you can imagine, when we went away for our cozy little Idyllwild getaway last week, my suitcase was basically nothing but Jenni Kayne. Not even kidding.

However, despite the fact that I lugged my Lug Boots and new favorite corduroy jacket all the way up the mountain, we ended up spending most of our time relaxing in the cabin. Consequently, that meant I spent most of my time in some variation of the Saturday sweatpants, sweatshirt and/or an oversized sweater. This look, combining the alpaca cocoon cardigan with the Saturday sweatpants was a particular favorite that I wore more than once in our short time away (Yup, I really did like it that much! haha). It’s cozy, it’s comfortable, it’s perfectly oversized yet still keeps you feeling chic and pulled together. It honestly just hits all the right notes. Then again, when do Jenni’s pieces not?!

Sizing NOTES

ALPACA COCOON CARDIGAN- This sweater runs super oversized so I recommend sizing down 1-2 sizes. I sized down 1 size to an xs becauseI do still like the oversized look, but honestly probably could have even done an xxs.

SATURDAY SWEATPANT- I know lots of people like to get their usual size in these sweatpants. However, I find they fit better going at least one size up, or, if you’re like me and like really oversized sweats (like borrowed from the boys oversized), go up 2 sizes. I have these oatmeal sweatpants in a large and I have them another color in my usual size small, and I definitely prefer the fit and feel of the large.
