In the Neutral Trenches

I often refer to Mondays as the "trenches of the work week". They're such a struggle to get through! After a weekend usually jam packed with activities, errands, and resting up, it's all I can do to get myself into an upright position with at least one eye open, one arm through a sleeve hole and doing some form of work by 9 AM 10 AM on a Monday morning. So when I manage to pull myself together enough to fully get dressed (usually sometime right before I have to turn back around and put on my pjs), I find that sticking to a palate of neutrals and tried and true pieces (like this trench that I've had for about 5 years) always serves me best. 

Do you keep it simple on Mondays or do you dress up and then get more casual as the week goes on?
