Caramel Cheesecake Baked Apples

You'd probably never guess this, but the food is one of my favorite things about the holidays (I told you that you'd never guess!). Appetizers, snacks, three breakfasts, drinks, punch, turkeys, pies, cakes, stuffing, potatoes, cheese.....briiiiiing.it.on. And while we're at it, bring on some extra room. I always used to say that I had extra space for dessert in my back. While I still stand by that statement 20 years later, it doesn't mean it's easy to fit in a buffet of desserts after a 20 course meal. My post on Sugar & Cloth this month for these caramel cheesecake stuffed baked apples is my attempt to slightly remedy the situation. By combining two desserts (cheesecake and baked apples) into one, I'm hoping I'll have to make a little less room in my stomach. But considering how good these are and that I want to eat them all, I'm thinking that's highly unlikely...
