Noted // Favorite Black Owned Brands

I’m super excited to share this post with you as these brands are all amazing and truly make some of my most loved and most used products. While I’ve mentioned most of them on Instagram many times before, I also wanted a place here on the site where I could make a note of my favorite Black-owned and run brands and businesses all in one spot. I’ll be sure to keep this list updated with new finds and favorites so check back for additions to the list. In the meantime, Let me know your own favorites in the comments!

SATYA + SAGE CANDLES // I love these candles for when I want very earthy, relaxing, zen scents and vibes. They’re very much a ritual, so they’re especially perfect for setting the tone in a morning, evening, meditation, etc. routine, or anytime you need to slow down and create a space of self-care.

I also love that these handmade candles are eco-friendly and are made using vegetable and coconut wax, essential oils and cotton wicks. They also offer a candle refill program and, for every purchase, a tree is planted.

LOCALE EUROPEAN // LA-based brand with a mix of staples/basics with a bit of an edge as well as swimwear. I have one of their bodysuits (which is, sadly, no longer available), and I absolutely love it! One of my closet staples and most worn pieces, for sure!

BRIOGEO //This brand makes one of my favorite hair masks that I’ve been using for 5+ years now. They’ve since grown to include such a wide range of products, many of which I still have yet to try, but if the hair mask is any indication, I’m sure they’re all amazing.

THE KOOP CANDLES // Obsessed with these candles when I’m looking for something a little moodier and sexier. The candles are handmade in small batches and toxin and phthalate free. I also love the NYC-themed names of some of their candles, too (Mercer St. anyone?!).

LINOTO // All kinds of dreamy linen pieces aka my heaven! I ordered these shorts (in Natural Oatmeal) to sleep in (go up a few sizes if you prefer something oversized as these definitely run small), but I have my eye on plenty of other pretty pieces, too, for next time I’m in need of some new linens.

KLUR // Aesthetically pleasing clean, conscious, minimal, ethical and botanically-based skincare line. I’m especially a fan of the Skin Soil, but am anxiously waiting to try their vitamin C serum (it’s been out of stock for a while now).

MONROWE // Amazing, high-quality, well-constructed hats! Definitely investment pieces but worth it because these are the types of hats that you know will last forever.

HILTON CARTER // He’s someone I’ve followed for years on the ‘gram. Incredible to see where he has come from when I first started following him (just sharing plants and plant advice) to now, with classes and books (we have this one and this one), among other things. If you’re into plants, he’s definitely a must follow!
