MONTH AHEAD // MARCH 2024
A SMALL TASTE OF WHAT'S COMING UP THIS MONTH
EDITOR’S NOTE //
Hello, hi, happy March!
I’m so excited for this month (and not just because it’s my birthday month, although I’m excited for that, too). March, to me, signals that the end of winter is near and spring is just around the corner, bring with it brighter days (Hello Daylight Savings this Sunday, March 10th!), warmer weather (first day of spring is March 19th!!), vibrant produce and pretty blooms. And I don’t know about you but I’m more than ready for all of the above.
I’m also excited because we’re in the process of booking some fun trips for the year, including our first ever trip to New Zealand, a place that has been on my bucket list for years, next month! The only problem? How we’re going to fit so many stunning looking stops and incredible must-do’s into just two short weeks. Any and all tips and suggestions are welcome and appreciated!
In the meantime, we’ve got a few smaller escapes to two different wine areas here in California and honestly, I’m just excited to be in the kitchen working on bright and springy recipes, to get out in the garden and get it cleaned up for spring planting and to finally do a proper closet clean-out (wow do I sound old or what?!). Oh, and hopefully, finally, start taking Italian lessons! Again, tips and suggestions on where to do so are welcome.
Meanwhile, on the blog I’ll be sharing a few California trips that are lovely for spring, one of which is especially perfect if you’re hoping to catch the Super Bloom (which should be beautiful again this year thanks to all the rain) and a few spring recipes just in time for Easter.
Hope March treats you well! And remember, brighter days ahead!
