Every morning when I wake, I thank God for blessing me with another day of life. But some days, I can't help feeling a little more thankful, a little more blessed. Today was one of those days. Of course, I'm feeling so incredibly thankful for this Lake Como view (I mean......literally no words...it's beyond stunning). I'm feeling thankful for a job that allows me to work from wherever (aka looking out onto views like this from the apartment we're renting). But most importantly, I'm thankful for that man right there by my side, both physically in these pictures and emotionally, spiritually and mentally in every day life. We're celebrating 3 years of marriage today and however thankful I am for this trip, this view, this job, it would all mean nothing without him...even if he does make me walk "20 minutes" (aka an hour) in the dark on narrow winding roads for dinner (if you follow me on Snapchat {username: runwaychef} then you probably know what I'm talking about)!

Annnnnnnd you now probably hate me for the most mushy, annoying paragraph everrrr (#sorrynotsorry). So let's discuss the clothes, shall we? The Mr. and I are both big fans of Joe Fresh, so it seemed only fitting to pair up some of their his + hers fall styles for a few anniversary snaps around Lake Como. This area of Italy feels so regal with all of it's magnificent mansions and beautiful history so we couldn't help but use navy as our main color. And because it was a bit chilly, we made sure to throw on scarves. Unfortunately even the scarves weren't enough to keep us warm, so sadly we had to change before heading to dinner (which you probably already know if you follow me on Instagram), but I'm pretty sure this won't be the last time on our 2.5 week trip that these outfits make an appearance! Or maybe I should even say this year...with all the holiday festivities that are on the horizon, I know we will need plenty of party outfits that are dressy enough for the season but comfortable enough for long events and these looks fit the bill perfectly!

Hope you all had a great long holiday weekend! Let me know what fun things you did in the comments below! As always, thank you for following along, especially on our current Italian adventures!
