HAN SERUM CC c/o //

If you saw my recently updated tinted moisturizers post, then you already know that this recently released product is a new favorite of mine. Great texture, great coverage, so many amazing skincare benefits and an overall great brand!

KOSAS CONCEALER //

I bought this soon after it came out as I felt like my longtime favorite, RMS, was no longer covering my under-eye area the way I needed it to. In comparison to RMS, this concealer is quite liquid-y and thin so it glides on easily and a little definitely goes a long way. I also really love how this really brightens up my eye area and covers/neutralizes my dark circles. However, I do notice some creasing after several hours of wear and, while the initial coverage is great, I’m not convinced that it’s all that long-lasting. I like this enough to finish it up but will definitely be trying another concealer option once this one runs out.

ILIA SUPER SERUM SKIN TINT //

Another product that I recently added to my tinted moisturizers post…this has become my go-to for everyday wear. I absolutely love it! It glides on easily and gives my skin a dewy finish. I also love all the skincare benefits and that it has SPF 40. However, the coverage is lighter so I still need concealer to cover any break-outs, and I would definitely opt for something else for the times that I need more coverage. Also, it is a bit on the pricier side, but a little does go a long way.

SUPERGOOP GLOW SCREEN //

I haven’t been the biggest Supergoop fan in the past, but this product has totally changed my mind. It’s not thick or heavy, it blends right into skin and doesn’t leave any tint or white shadow, and it gives a nice dewy glow to skin. It’s now my go-to face sunscreen to wear on the days that I’m not wearing any tinted moisturizer.

RE: ERTH SKINCARE LINE c/o //

I was so intrigued to try this Japanese line that recently launched in the US. In all honesty, it probably deserves its own post (mentally adding it to my “Post Ideas” list as I type this) because it really is amazing and hard to summarize in a few sentences, but I’ll try. One of the first things that stood out to me about this line is that, while it’s packed with tons of nature-derived ingredients (a key one being Japanese white turmeric, grown exclusively in the Kyushu region of Japan and known for its many skincare benefits), it’s also backed by university and scientific research, something that is really important but not always easy to find in non-toxic skincare products. This line, which is suitable for all skin types, also puts on emphasis on fewer, better products, meaning your overall skincare routine is simplified while still being incredibly effective and targeted to various needs, such dull skin, fine lines, uneven skin tone and dark spots. Another thing that I really liked about this line is the inclusion of a supplement to support overall skin health. As someone who believes that your outward appearance is as much about what you put in your body as what you put on it, it’s nice to see a brand target your skincare needs from both the inside and out. Overall, the products smell great, they’re very light and gentle and easy to apply and use, and so far I’ve been impressed with the results.

JUICE BEAUTY BLEMISH CLEARING SERUM //

I’ve really struggled with adult acne and have tried lots of spot treatment options over the years but never a specific serum. Happy to report, though, that after incorporating this product into my routine, my acne has all but vanished. I got a very small breakout here or there, but nothing like what it was in the past. I only use it when I start to get a breakout, applying it all over my face, as part of both my morning and evening skincare routine, and it’s truly made a huge difference. I’ll dive more into this in a acne-specific post, but overall I’m a huge fan of this product so far.

PLAYA SUPERNATURAL CONDITIONER C/O //

I’ve really enjoyed using this conditioner. The texture is a bit richer than your typical conditioner, a bit more like a hair mask (you even leave it in for 2-4 minutes versus just rinsing it out), but as someone with thick, frizzy, dry hair I actually really appreciate that as typical conditioners never quite feel like they’re actually moisturizing. Where I notice the biggest difference is actually when I blow dry my hair. After using this conditioner my hair definitely blow dries smoother and straighter than when I use other conditioners. And, of course, the coconut-tropical scent doesn’t hurt the entire conditioner experience either.

ERE PEREZ ALMOND BROW PENCIL //

Finding clean brow products that actually work has been a bit of a challenge for me. I’ve found a brow gel I like (Hi W3LL People!), and while I don’t mind using a brown eyeshadow to help fill in my brows, I’ve still been on the lookout for a good brow pencil. I found out about Ere Perez from a store on Abbott Kinney (the store is, sadly, no more), but the Australian brand’s products are available on several online retailers, including Amazon, so I decided to give this product a try. So far, so good. The color is great, not too thick or heavy, and it glides on easily. It also pairs well with my brow gel. Most importantly, though, it stays put versus using eyeshadow, which usually ends up fading after a few hours.

JOHN MASTERS Organics SCALP SHAMPOO c/o //

I’ve really struggled with a dry scalp over the last few months, so I was excited to try this shampoo. I love the fresh scent from the spearmint and I feel like this product really gives my scalp a tingling good clean, especially when I work it in with this. It’s also helped cut back on itchiness and dryness, and overall I think it’s great to include in a scalp treatment routine.

JOHN MASTERS Organics HAIR MASK c/o //

A gentle hair mask with a lovely rose scent; I use this after the shampoo I mentioned above and the two pair really well together for an overall healthy hair and scalp routine that leaves my hair smelling heavenly!

JOHN MASTERS Organics Intensive DAILY SERUM c/o //

I love this lightweight, nutrient rich serum! It’s packed with vitamin C thanks to kakadu plum, the world's richest source of vitamin C, which makes it great for helping with dark spots and fighting fine lines and wrinkles. It’s also great for boosting overall skin brightness and luminosity. A few other things of note- unlike other vitamin c serums that I’ve tried, this one has not caused my skin to breakout. It also comes in a dark brown glass bottle with a pump versus a dropper, both of which are great for minimizing light and air exposure, things that diminish the potency and effectiveness of vitamin C, meaning that this serum will stay potent for much longer.

JOHN MASTERS Organics OVERNIGHT MASK c/o //

I absolutely love the rose fragrance of this overnight mask! It’s such a relaxing scent to fall asleep to. The texture is a bit goopy, which does take a little getting used to (word to the wise- sleep with an older pillowcase on your pillow the nights you use it because it does get a bit sticky), but true to what it claims to do (exfoliate and smooth, hydrate and firm), your skin really does look more luminous, smooth and hydrated when you wake up the next morning (even Dave notices and comments on it, if that tells you anything).
