Chai Crepe Cake

People of the world, SPICE UP YOUR LIFE, every boy every girl, SPICE UP YOUR LIFE… please tell me I'm not the only Spice Girl fan left on the planet??! Leave it to one of their songs to distract me in the middle of a food post!!!! But I promise there's a method to my madness and a reason to my believin' (Does that even make any sense?! No??....Probably not....but just go with it for me, ok?) buried in there somewhere (even if you have to dig all the way back to 1995 to find it).

So switching gears, let's talk spiced things, as in what you find in the kitchen, not what's coming out of your speakers (Don't even try to deny that you're still blasting "Wannabe"!). I like spices all year long, but once fall hits, I like to turn up the heat. I pretty much like any and everything to be spiced, but not always spicy. In fact, one of my favorite spicy flavors is chai. Y'all know I'm obsessed, and when fall hits, forget about it. My chai obsession literally know no boundaries. It's basically like "You get a chai and you get a chai and you get a chai and everyone gets a chai!". Except by everyone I mean all the dishes I make (Do I talk to my food? Maybe...yes...no...you'll never know?!). Yes, it's true. I take my favorite tea flavor and start mixing it into everything. This chai crepe cake is my latest in a long line of chai victims. Although I must say, something can hardly be called a victim when it tastes so good!

You can head over to Sugar & Cloth for the full recipe, and in the meantime I am going to grab another bite of this cake because I REALLY, REALLY REALLY WANNA ZIGAZIG AH!
